Joseph Valof has over 28 years of legal and business experience in the high tech commercial and government marketplace providing clients with contract and negotiation services as well as general and preventive law counseling. More than eight of those years have been spent as an Independent General Counsel, and 20 years as an in-house high-tech corporate attorney. Since 1989 he has been working as an IGC [Independent General Counsel]. He has drafted and negotiated a broad range of domestic and international business agreements for a variety of high-tech companies and consultants.

Joe holds a J.D. degree, as well as MBA and B.S. degrees, all from accredited colleges. He is active in the MBA [High-Tech Legal Group], the Massachusetts Software Council, New England Corporate Counsel Association and is a founding member of The Association of Independent General Counsel [AIGC].

Joe has dealt with product marketing and distribution, product liability, advertising and trade practices, as well as, of course, general contract law. As a former in-house corporate attorney, Joe knows the high technology marketplace and has successfully negotiated major complex contracts with many Fortune 1000 companies and most governmental agencies.
